However, many PC bridges have been deteriorating even before the end of their design service-life due to corrosion and other environmental effects. In view of this, a number of innovative technologies have been developed in Japan to increase not only the structural performance of PC bridges, but also their long-term durability. These include the development of novel structural systems and the advancement in construction materials. This paper presents an overview of such innovative technologies on PC bridges on their development and applications in actual construction projects. Some noteworthy structures, which represent the state-of-the-art technologies in the construction of PC bridges in Japan, are also presented. 43.pdf-

منحنیهای شکنندگی لرزهای تجربی پلها با در نظر گرفتن عدم قطعیتهای اتفاقی مختلط مرتضی بسطامی, امیر ملکشاهی یکی از روشهای ارزیابی لرزهای پلها استفاده از منحنیهای شکنندگی تجربی است. از اطلاعات خسارت موجود برای برقراری رابطه بین حالت حدی خسارت و مؤلفههای حرکت زمین استفاده میشود. از آنجا که ویژگیهای هیچ کدام از حرکت ورودی و مصالح سازهای نمیتوانند به طور قطع بیان شوند، مطالعات آسیبپذیری احتمالاتی با استفاده از روابطی که احتمال خسارت را به صورت تابعی از متغیرهای اتفاقی حرکت زمین و خصوصیات مصالح بیان میکنند، انجام میشود. این متغیرها عدم قطعیتهای ذاتی دارند. در این مطالعه متغیرهای اتفاقی مذکور به همراه عدم قطعیتهای وابسته به صورت مختلط در نظر گرفته شدهاند. به عنوان مطالعه موردی از اطلاعات خسارت 2768 پل در زلزلههای 1994 نورتریج و 1995 کوبه و با استفاده از روشی که برای به دست آوردن منحنیهای شکنندگی تجربی معرفی شده، منحنیهای شکنندگی پلهای مورد اشاره، به دست آمدهاند. Urban. 3(6):362-367. 2013 ABSTRACT:In this study the effects of bond-slip modelling in reinforced concrete structures based on analytical equations has been investigated. TEE joint from the cap beam to the column at a location connection of the bridge is considered. The work refers, especially to the implementation of reinforcing bars and bond-slip models between steel and concrete in the developed finite element program. In order to assess the bond-slip effect, the OpenSees finite element model of the TEE joint is constructed. CEB-FIP analytical method of bond-slip is considered with nonlinear behaviour parameters from materials. Also, It is performed Nonlinear time history and pushover analysis. Based on analytical equations, the results show that taking into account the bond-slip effects in the reduction of stiffness, ultimate capacity and energy dissipation. The Importance of Determining Damage Levels of the Bridges in Non-Linear Dynamic Analysis Original Article, C30 Karimi Moridani K, Khodayari R, Asadpour M. Journal. Civil Eng. Urban. 3(4):191-196. 2013 ABSTRACT:During past earthquakes, different modes of damage were observed in bridges; consequently in seismic evaluation of these structures, various Indexes were used to determine vulnerability of the structures against earthquake vibrations. In this paper, damage indexes of structural elements of bridge are introduced and suggested definitions for structure damage state are stated. Then, a three span bridge is analyzed using OpenSees non-linear analysis software, considering three-dimensional model under earthquake load and non-linear behavior. After calculating necessary outcomes of the elements and nodes, damage indexes of damage at the foundations and columns level were measured. The model is able to calculate responses and damage indexes of supports and joints. Using this model, damage level of bridge structure is determined based on tables, which determine necessity of retrofitting. Based on the result, decisions made based on each criterion are compared. The results show that exact specification of damage indexes for the estimation of the vulnerability of structures (bridges here) is very important.
